David Wright's three-run homer in the seventh inning snapped a tie and lifted the New York Mets to a 7-2 victory over the Washington Nationals on Saturday.
Lucas Duda and Chris Carter also went deep for the Mets, who have won four straight meetings with the Nationals.
With two outs in the seventh, Angel Pagan kept the inning alive with a single and Jesus Feliciano walked before Wright deposited a 2-2 pitch from Tyler Clippard (11-8) over the wall in left-center field for his 29th blast of the season and a 5-2 advantage. Clippard also served up Josh Thole's walkoff homer on Friday.
Carter added a pinch-hit shot in the eighth to seal the first career win for Ryota Igarashi (1-1), who struck out the only batter he faced in the seventh.
Feliciano gave New York a 1-0 lead in the third with a sacrifice fly and Duda doubled it an inning later with a solo home run, his fourth of the season.
Mike Morse got Washington on the board in the sixth with a leadoff homer, his 15th, and Wilson Ramos knotted the game at 2-2 in the top of the seventh with an RBI single.
Ramos added a pair of doubles for the Nationals, who have lost four of five.
