Colby Rasmus hit a walk-off single with one out in the 11th inning, leading the St. Louis Cardinals to a 5-4 triumph over the Milwaukee Brewers on Saturday.

After Matt Holliday led off the inning with a groundout, Aaron Miles and Yadier Molina followed with singles off John Axford (1-1). Three pitches later, Rasmus lined a single to right field, plating Miles with the winning run.

Rasmus has collected eight RBIs in his last five games.

The rally made a winner of Mitchell Boggs (1-2), who worked around a pair of errors in the top of the 11th. It was St. Louis' seventh win in nine games and ninth in its last 12 at Busch Stadium.

Rickie Weeks, who led off Friday's series opener with one of Milwaukee's two hits - a double - off Adam Wainwright, kicked off Saturday’s game with his ninth home run of the season. It was his 16th career leadoff blast.

The Cardinals wasted little time taking over, however, as Albert Pujols belted his 13th homer of the year, a two-run shot, in the bottom of the first and Rasmus delivered a two-run double later in the inning for a 4-1 advantage.

The Brewers, who have lost six of seven, rallied to tie the contest in the sixth. Casey McGehee plated a run with a double and, after Corey Hart's RBI groundout, scored on a sacrifice fly by George Kottaras.

Neither starter figured in the decision. Milwaukee's Chris Narveson allowed four runs and five hits in six innings, while Adam Ottavino surrendered two runs and five hits in five frames of his second major league start.
