The San Francisco Giants made a clean sweep of their opening series against the Houston Astros with a 10-4 win on Wednesday.
The Giants used a high-powered offense to record the win in Game 3 by belting out 19 hits and a pair of home runs from Travis Ishikawa and John Bowker. Houston sent four different pitchers to the mound, but couldn't stop the bleeding.
Matt Cain (1-0) earned the win with just two earned runs and five strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings. Brett Myers (0-1) was charged with the loss for the Astros.
