Cory Sullivan singled in the winning run in the eighth inning and Jeff Keppinger drove in four to push the Houston Astros past the Colorado Rockies, 7-3, on Wednesday.

Carlos Lee hit his fifth homer of the season and Tommy Manzella added two hits for the Astros, who snapped a five-game losing streak.

Tied 3-3 in the eighth, reliever Esmil Rogers got two quick outs before Manzella reached on Clint Barmes' error. Rogers then walked Geoff Blum before Sullivan singled to shallow left, plating Manzella with the go-ahead run.

Rogers (0-2) proceeded to walk Michael Bourn intentionally in front of Keppinger, who cleared the bases with a double to left.

Lee put Felipe Paulino in line for his first win of the season with a solo homer in the fifth, but the Houston bullpen let their starter down in the seventh when Chris Sampson surrendered Barmes' second homer of the season - a solo shot that tied it at 3-3.

Paulino, who entered the contest at 0-6 on the season, allowed just two hits and two runs while walking five and striking out four.

Brandon Lyon (3-1) took credit for the win, pitching a scoreless eighth.

Troy Tulowitzki and Melvin Mora each drove in a run for Colorado, which has dropped three straight.
