Chris Iannetta’s solo home run in the bottom of the 10th inning gave the Colorado Rockies a 6-5 victory over the New York Mets on Wednesday.

The Colorado catcher then atoned for his mistake with a blast off Jenrry Mejia (0-1) to end it.
Ryan Spilborghs had two hits, including a three-run homer in the third that gave the Rockies a 5-3 lead.
Randy Flores (1-0) picked up the win in getting one batter out in the top of the 10th.
Colorado starter Aaron Cook surrendered three runs on four hits over six innings for the no-decision.
Jeff Francoeur and David Wright homered for the Mets in helping build a 3-0 advantage after three innings.
The Mets scratched across a run in the eighth on a Rod Barajas single to cut the advantage to 5-4.
