Omar Infante drove in the winning run with a two-run single in the bottom of the 11th inning to propel the Atlanta Braves to a 4-3 win over the Florida Marlins on Friday.
Martin Prado also finished with a pair of RBIs for the Braves, who have won five of seven and improved to 29-9 at home.
After the Marlins grabbed a one-run lead in the top of the 11th, Atlanta rallied back when Brian McCann walked and Troy Glaus doubled. Infante, a late-inning replacement, then plated both with a base hit to left center off closer Leo Nunez (3-2), who blew his fifth save.
Jonny Venters (3-0) was credited with the win despite allowing the go-ahead run when Wes Helms scored with Brian Barton at the dish to make it 3-2.
Gaby Sanchez sent the game to extra innings with a homer in the ninth off Billy Wagner. Hanley Ramirez also homered, a solo shot in the first, for the Marlins.
Braves starter Kris Medlen allowed a run on six hits in 6 1/3 innings of the no-decision.
