Mark Reynolds homered and drove in four runs and Justin Upton and Gerardo Parra each drove in a pair as the Arizona Diamondbacks cruised to a 13-2 victory over the New York Mets on Monday.
Chris Young finished with three hits and three runs scored and Adam LaRoche had three hits and an RBI for Arizona, which pounded out 18 hits in snapping a four-game skid.
The Diamondbacks struck early, plating four runs in the first and two more in the second off Mets starter Mike Pelfrey.
Reynolds, who had three hits and finished a double shy of the cycle, went deep in the sixth with two men aboard for the 11-1 edge.
Ian Kennedy (5-7) was the beneficiary of the onslaught as he picked up the win in allowing one run on four hits over five innings to snap a four-game losing streak.
Jose Reyes and Angel Pagan each had an RBI for New York, which has dropped four of five.
Pelfrey (10-5) was charged with six runs and seven hits in 1 1/3 innings, the shortest stint of his career. He is 0-5 lifetime against Arizona.
