Martin Prado homered twice and Tim Hudson pitched eight strong innings to lead the Atlanta Braves to a 13-1 destruction of the Arizona Diamondbacks on Sunday.

Eric Hinske also homered and drove in four and Troy Glaus chipped in a solo shot for the Braves, who have won five of six.

Prado had four hits to boost his team-leading average to .323, beginning with a solo blast leading off the game against Diamondbacks ace Dan Haren (4-3). Atlanta added another run in the first on Hinske's sacrifice fly and kept the pressure on in the middle innings, picking up a run in the fourth, four more in the fifth and two in the sixth.

The Braves piled on with four more in the eighth, capped by Prado's RBI single.

Hudson (4-1) allowed three hits and one run while walking one and striking out six to pick up his fourth win of the season and lower his ERA to 2.41. He also helped his own cause with an RBI double.

Haren allowed four or more runs in a start for the fourth time already this season, surrendering seven runs - six earned - and eight hits in 4 1/3 innings to suffer his second straight loss. The right-hander entered the game second in the National League with 60 strikeouts, but managed only a season-low two against Atlanta.

The 13-run outburst was the Braves' best offensive showing since beating the Chicago Cubs 16-5 on Opening Day.
