The Colorado Rockies scored 11 times in the first three innings on the way to a 12-1 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday.
Carlos Gonzalez finished 3-for-5 with five RBIs to pace the 16-hit attack.
The carnage came against Diamondbacks starter Edwin Jackson (1-2), who was tagged for 11 hits and 10 earned runs in 2 1/3 innings to balloon his ERA to 6.67.
The big blow came from Gonzalez, who doubled to right to drive in two runs in a three-run first. He added a two-run triple in the second to make it 7-0.
Troy Tulowitzki had three hits, including two doubles, and three runs scored, while Eric Young had a pair of hits and drove in two runs.
The benefactor of all the run support was right-hander Ubaldo Jimenez, who pushed his scoreless innnings streak to 22 1/3 innings.
Jimenez (5-0) went six innings, giving up two hits and two walks with six strikeouts to drop his ERA to 0.79.
