Ryan Noda and Seth Brown hit two-run home runs and the Oakland Athletics, no-hit for five innings, exploded late for a 10-6 victory and a three-game sweep of the visiting Los Angeles Angels on Sunday afternoon.

Scoring four runs in the sixth and six in the seventh, the A's (42-95) overcame a 3-0 deficit en route to their first three-game series sweep since June 9-11 at Milwaukee.

Angels starter Tyler Anderson took a no-hitter into the sixth before things fell apart big-time shortly after Zack Gelof beat out an infield single.

Noda followed with his 13th home run of the season, and three batters later, the pinch-hitting Brown greeted reliever Andrew Wantz with his 13th of the year, giving the A's a 4-3 lead.

Luis Rengifo got the Angels (64-73) even in the top of the seventh with a solo shot, his 15th homer of the season, before the visitors self-destructed in the bottom of the inning.

Jose Soriano (0-1) made a throwing error on a potential inning-ending double-play ball, and a walk to Brent Rooker loaded the bases. Tony Kemp hit a pinch-hit, two-RBI single, and Angels center fielder Mickey Moniak made it a three-run play with an errant throw home.

That gave Oakland a 7-4 lead, and after Brown was intentionally walked, a double by Shea Langeliers opened up a five-run advantage.

Lawrence Butler's run-scoring infield single off Jose Marte capped the uprising.

Third-year major-leaguer Francisco Perez (1-1), who got the final two outs of the top of the seventh with the score tied, was credited with his first big-league win. A's starter Kyle Muller had allowed the Angels' first three runs and five hits over four innings, mixing in one walk and three strikeouts.

Soriano, charged with six runs (four earned), took the loss after Anderson had been charged with three runs on three hits in his 5 1/3 innings. Anderson walked three and struck out five.

The Angels' early lead was the result of a three-run fourth inning, during which Eduardo Escobar hit a two-run homer and Chad Wallach added an RBI double.

The visitors completed the game's scoring in the ninth on Kirby Snead's wild pitch that allowed Wallach to come home and an RBI single by Rengifo. A's closer Trevor May came on to strike out pinch hitter Mike Moustakas with two aboard to pick up his 17th save.
