Diamondbacks 10, Giants 2: Rookie Patrick Corbin drove in four runs and tossed eight strong innings as visiting Arizona salvaged the finale of the three-game series.

Corbin cleared the bases and broke a 2-2 tie in the fourth inning with his first career triple down the first-base line off Ryan Vogelsong (12-9), who gave up seven runs (six earned) over 3 1/3 innings.

Arizona, which snapped a streak of scoring four or fewer runs in 12 straight home games, extended its lead in the fourth on Aaron Hill’s two-run double.

Justin Upton homered for the second straight game and drove in three runs for the Diamondbacks, who stand 4 1/2 games out of the second NL wild-card spot.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Diamondbacks’ Kirk Gibson earned his 200th career regular-season win as a manager. …Giants LF Gregor Blanco is expected to miss several games with a sore left shoulder. … Arizona won for just the third time in its last 11 games at Chase Field.
