Giants 9, Athletics 8: Brandon Belt and Buster Posey homered and the visiting Giants took advantage of four Oakland errors to win their second straight over the Athletics.

Madison Bumgarner (9-4) settled down after giving up four runs in the first three innings to improve to 4-0 in five June starts.

The Athletics scored four runs with two outs in the bottom of the ninth before Clay Hensley retired Jemile Weeks with the bases loaded for his second save.

Josh Reddick gave Oakland a first-inning lead with his two-run homer before the Giants answered with two runs in the second off Tyson Ross (2-7), who gave up five runs (three earned) over 5 1/3 innings.

The Athletics led 3-2 on Reddick’s RBI single in the third and added another run on Jonny Gomes’ solo home run in the fourth.

Belt hit his fourth home run as part of a four-run sixth inning that included three errors by first baseman Brandon Moss. Belt went 2-for-3 to extend his hitting streak to a career-best 11 games, batting .441 during that stretch.

Posey extended the Giants’ lead with a two-run homer in the seventh off Brian Fuentes. Jordan Norberto replaced Fuentes and walked Nate Schierholtz with the bases loaded, scoring Angel Pagan.

Bumgarner gave up four runs on a season-high 11 hits over six innings for the Giants, who broke a six-game road losing streak against Oakland on Friday.
