Astros 3, Marlins 2: Pinch hitter Brian Bogusevic hit a two-out RBI double in the eighth inning to snap a tie as Houston ended Miami's seven-game winning streak.
With two outs and the game even at 2-2, Travis Buck kept the inning alive with a single off Ryan Webb (1-1). Bogusevic, who was hitting for reliever Wilton Lopez, followed with a double to left field that scored Buck from first base.
Lopez (3-0) tossed a scoreless eighth and Brett Myers worked around a single in the ninth for his eighth save in as many opportunities.
Omar Infante gave Miami the lead with a two-out solo homer in the fourth and John Buck added a one-out solo shot in the fifth to make it 2-0. But Infante committed a pair of errors on the same play with the bases loaded in the sixth, allowing two runs to score.
Anibal Sanchez allowed two unearned runs and struck out eight over seven innings for the Marlins, who fell to 7-1 on their nine-game road trip.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Bogusevic's double was Houston's first extra-base hit in three games. Since Jed Lowrie's homer in the eighth inning of Sunday's victory over St. Louis, the Astros went 25 innings with nothing but singles. ... Sanchez has recorded 46 strikeouts over 40 1/3 innings this season. ... Aneury Rodriguez allowed only the two solo homers over six innings in his season debut.
