Marlins 3, Giants 2: Giancarlo Stanton lined a homer to left field in the top of the 10th inning as visiting Miami beat San Francisco for the second straight night.

Stanton’s third homer in four games came against Santiago Casilla (0-1) and barely cleared the fence. Stanton had three of the Marlins’ five hits.

Steve Cishek (3-0) struck out two in the 10th.

San Francisco scored twice in the bottom of the ninth to force extra innings with Gregor Blanco’s safety-squeeze bunt plating Joaquin Arias from third to tie the game.

Brandon Belt led off the inning with a double to left-center field against Marlins closer Heath Bell and Arias followed with a single to right to score Belt. Buster Posey followed with a single to right to chase Bell. Cishek struck out Brett Pill before Blanco’s terrific bunt halfway up the first-base line.

Bell’s latest breakdown spoiled a solid effort by Marlins starter Carlos Zambrano, who continued his mastery of San Francisco by throwing seven shutout innings. Zambrano allowed five hits, struck out five and walked three.

Miami scored both of its runs without the benefit of a hit as Giants starter Barry Zito battled wildness and matched a career high with seven walks in 3 2/3 innings.

Two first-inning walks set up Miami’s first run. Omar Infante bounced into a fielder’s choice with the bases loaded to score Emilio Bonifacio. The Marlins also drew two walks off Zito in the second and the run crossed on a two-out error by Arias.
