Luke Hughes hit a three-run homer and the host Minnesota Twins snapped their six-game losing streak with a 6-4 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday.
Matt Capps worked a scoreless ninth inning for his 12th save in relief of Brian Duensing (5-7), who allowed four runs over five innings.
Capps has allowed only one earned run in nine appearances this month.
One game after routing the Twins 15-0 on Monday with a season-high 25 hits, the Dodgers had seven, including Aaron Miles' first home run since Sept. 16, 2008.
Dodgers starter Ted Lilly (5-8) gave up six runs on nine hits over 4 2/3 innings. Lilly has allowed six runs in each of his last three starts.
Ben Revere and Jason Repko had two stolen bases apiece for the Twins. Opponents have stolen 19 bases against Lilly, most in the National League.
