Prince Fielder hit a pair of two-run home runs and Nyjer Morgan laced a game-ending RBI double down the right field line to give the Milwaukee Brewers a 7-6 victory over the New York Mets on Wednesday at Miller Park.
Morgan's winning hit off Dale Thayer (0-1) finished off a comeback from a four-run deficit for the Brewers, who have won 12 of 14 at home.
After Ronny Paulino's three-run home run capped a five-run eighth to give the Mets to a 6-2 lead, the Brewers tied it with four in the bottom half on Ryan Braun's two-run double and Fielder's second homer of the night.
New York's Jose Reyes went 2-for-4 for his major league-best 30th multi-hit game of the season, extending his hitting streak to 12 games.
Fielder is tied with Cincinnati's Jay Bruce and Los Angeles' Matt Kemp with an NL-best 17 home runs and leads the NL with 54 RBIs. The Brewers have hit at least one home run in 13 of their past 14 games, and Fielder has six homers in the past six games.
Milwaukee's Casey McGehee snapped an 0-for-27 slump with a single up the middle in the seventh.
