Chris Iannetta homered in the seventh and scored the other run to lead the Colorado Rockies to a 2-1 victory over the visiting New York Mets on Monday.
Iannetta’s line-drive homer to left field off Chris Capuano (2-4) barely cleared the fence as Colorado snapped a four-game losing streak.
Huston Street pitched the ninth for his 12th save in 13 opportunities. The second out occurred when Iannetta threw out Willie Harris trying to steal second.
Matt Belisle (3-2) got the final two outs in the seventh.
Colorado stuck first when Iannetta led off the fifth with a double and scored on a two-out single by Dexter Fowler.
New York tied it in the sixth as Carlos Beltran walked, moved to third on a single by Ike Davis and scored when Jason Bay reached on a throwing error by third baseman Ian Stewart.
Capuano allowed two runs and five in 6 2/3 innings. He struck out four and walked three.
