Dan Uggla hit a two-run homer and a walk-off RBI single and Hanley Ramirez added a grand slam to lead the Florida Marlins to a 7-6 victory over the New York Mets at Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico on Tuesday.

The Mets tied it at 6-6 on pinch-hitter Josh Thole's RBI single off Marlins closer Leo Nunez (3-1), who allowed two runs in the ninth for his fourth blown save but picked up the win.

Jorge Cantu hit a two-out double and Uggla followed with the game-winning hit off Pedro Feliciano (2-3) in the bottom half of the frame.

The Mets took a 3-0 lead on sacrifice flies by Jason Bay and Angel Pagan and an RBI double by Jose Reyes, but the Marlins struck for six runs in the third against Mets starter Hisanori Takahashi.

Ramirez hit his 12th homer of the season and his fourth career grand slam and Uggla added his 15th of the year later in the inning.

All eight Florida runs came with two outs.

Marlins manager Edwin Rodriguez learned Tuesday he would have the "interim" tag stripped from his title and manage the team for the remainder of the season. The Marlins have won the first two games of the series and are 3-4 since Rodriguez took over after Fredi Gonzalez was fired last week.
