Carlos Lee had three hits and drove in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning as the Houston Astros rallied for a 4-3 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday night at Coors Field.
Trailing 3-2 entering the eighth, Houston’s Michael Bourn singled off Matt Belisle (1-2). Bourn moved to second on a balk and third on Tommy Manzella’s bunt single before Lance Berkman grounded into a fielder’s choice off reliever Franklin Morales to score Bourn. After Berkman stole second base Lee singled against Rafael Betancourt to plate the go-ahead run.
Houston’s Brian Moehler pitched six innings, allowing three runs on nine hits. He had four strikeouts and three walks. Wilton Lopez (3-0) pitched a perfect seventh for the win. Matt Lindstrom earned his 14th save.
