Melky Cabrera and Eric Hinske hit home runs and Atlanta's bullpen pieced together four scoreless as the Braves won their fifth consecutive game, beating Pittsburgh 4-2 on Saturday at PNC Park.
Cabrera entered the game hitting .200 but he had two hits Saturday, including a solo homer in the second. Hinske continued his hot hitting this month with his third homer of the season an inning later. Chipper Jones added two hits and an RBI for the Braves.
Atlanta starter Derek Lowe lasted only five innings and allowed five hits and four walks, but he allowed only two runs. The bullpen took care of the rest as Peter Moylan, Eric O'Flaherty and Takashi Saito got the ball to Billy Wagner, who worked around a ninth-inning walk to earn his fifth save in seven opportunities.
Lowe (6-4) has factored in the decision in all 10 of his starts this year.
Charlie Morton (1-8) was tagged with the loss despite one of his best outings of the year. He allowed three runs -- two earned -- on six hits over six innings.
The start of the game was delayed almost two hours because of rain.
