Jay Bruce homered twice and drove in four runs as the Cincinnati Reds went deep five times en route to a 7-2 triumph over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Drew Stubbs, Joey Votto and Orlando Cabrera added solo shots for the Reds, who guaranteed their first winning record since 2000 by posting their club-record 44th victory this season at Great American Ball Park.

The Reds, who have won 11 of their last 12 meetings with the Diamondbacks, fell behind early as Miguel Montero and Ryan Church opened the top of the second inning with home runs. But Bruce and Stubbs duplicated the feat in the bottom half to forge a 2-2 tie.

Votto led off the third with his 34th blast of the year, putting Cincinnati ahead for good. Three batters later, Bruce launched a two-run shot to complete his fourth multi-homer performance of 2010 - second in five games - and give the Reds a 5-2 cushion.

Bruce, who had missed the previous 12 games with pain in his right side, has recorded seven home runs and 11 RBIs in his last five contests.

Cabrera added a leadoff homer in the fifth and Bruce capped the scoring in the seventh with an RBI single.

Bronson Arroyo (15-10) halted a personal three-game losing streak, allowing two runs and seven hits in six innings. The right-hander, who struck out eight without a walk, improved to 3-3 lifetime against Arizona.

Barry Enright (6-4) surrendered five runs and seven hits over just three innings in his first career appearance versus the Reds. It was the second straight outing in which the 24-year-old yielded more than three runs after he gave up three or less in each of his first 12 starts this year.
