John Jaso homered and drove in four runs to lead the Tampa Bay Rays to a 10-6 win over the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park Sunday.
Pedro Feliz belted a three-run homer in the first inning as Astros scored four runs in the first inning off David Price.
The Rays then scored two runs in third and three more in the fifth. Jaso hit a two-run homer in the fifth to tie the score and Hank Blalock followed with a solo homer, his first of the year, to give Tampa Bay a 5-4 lead.
Houston tied the game at 5-5 on a Hunter Pence home run, but the Rays took the lead for good on RBI singles by Willie Aybar and Ben Zobrist in the sixth. Carl Crawford had an RBI single in the eighth and Jaso followed with a two-run triple.
Price (7-1) got the win allowing five runs in five innings. Brian Moehler took the loss in relief for the Astros. Moehler (0-1) did not record an out and was charged with two runs on four hits.
