Evan Longoria homered and drove in four runs to help the Tampa Bay Rays snap a three-game skid with a 7-2 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday.
Carl Crawford finished with three hits and two stolen bases and Ben Zobrist had an RBI and scored a pair of runs for Tampa Bay, who improved to 14-4 on the road.
Jeff Niemann (3-0) allowed one run on six hits and struck out four over 7 1/3 innings to keep his record unblemished.
Tampa Bay (22-10) jumped to an early 3-0 lead before tagging on three more in the seventh.
