Kurt Suzuki drove in three runs and Coco Crisp finished a home run short of the cycle as the Oakland Athletics extended their winning streak to four games with a 4-2 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday.
Suzuki had driven in just three runs in his previous 11 games, but equalled that total with a pair of RBI singles and a run-scoring groundout.
Crisp had a single, double and triple while scoring twice and stealing two bases. He is now hitting .414 on the season despite a pair of stints on the disabled list.
Vin Mazzaro (3-2) overcame some control issues to earn his first victory in four starts. The veteran right-hander allowed a run on three hits over six innings, walking six and striking out two.
Andrew Bailey, the fifth Oakland pitcher of the game, threw a scoreless ninth frame for his 15th save.
Orioles starter Brian Matusz (2-9) continued to struggle, surrendering three runs on seven hits over 6 1/3 innings, while walking one and striking out two as Baltimore saw its season-high four-game winning streak come to an end.
Cesar Izturis had an RBI single while Luke Scott added a run-scoring double in defeat.
