Troy Terry scored in overtime to lift the visiting Anaheim Ducks to their fifth win in a row 3-2 against the Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday.

Terry also had an assist to extend his point streak to 12 games (nine goals, seven assists), the longest in the NHL this season.

Cam Fowler and Isac Lundestrom also scored, and John Gibson made 41 saves for the Ducks, who haven't won five in a row since Nov. 27-Dec. 5, 2018.

J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson scored, and Jaroslav Halak made 27 saves for Vancouver in the finale of a seven-game homestand.

The Ducks were on a power play late in the third period when Halak was pulled for an extra attacker.

Ducks forward Derek Grant broke his stick and Pettersson took advantage, skating in and scoring a short-handed goal to tie the score 2-2 with 55 seconds left.

Miller scored at 13:29 of the third period to make it 2-1.

The Ducks, who came in fourth in the NHL in power-play efficiency (27.3) after finishing with the worst last season (8.9), scored with the man-advantage to take a 1-0 lead at 11:18 of the first period.

Fowler took a slap shot that got past Halak for his second goal of the season, both on the power play. Terry assisted on the goal to extend his point streak.

It was the 11th time in 13 games the Canucks allowed the first goal.

The Ducks made it 2-0 at 9:15 of the third period when a shot by Lundestrom off the rush was saved by Halak and went off Miller, who tried to stop the puck before it skidded across the goal line.

Play continued, but was stopped about 90 seconds later to review the play, and the goal was awarded to Lundestrom.
