Captain Andrew Ladd recorded a goal and an assist and Nik Antropov snapped a lengthy goal-scoring drought as the Winnipeg Jets extended the Buffalo Sabres' franchise-record road losing streak to 11 games with a 4-1 triumph on Thursday.
Defenseman Tobias Enstrom and Tim Stapleton also scored, Kyle Wellwood set up two goals and Antropov added an assist for the Jets, who won for just the third time in nine contests.
Drew Stafford tallied for Buffalo, which fell to 0-4-0 on its seven-game road trip and has not won away from home since Dec. 3 at Nashville.
Ladd opened the scoring midway through the first period when he tipped defenseman Ron Hainsey's blast from the right point past Ryan Miller for his 16th goal of the season.
After Stafford converted a 2-on-1 rush early in the second to forge a tie, Enstrom beat Miller with a one-timer from the blue line during a power play with just over seven minutes remaining in the session to put the Jets ahead for good.
Stapleton added a man-advantage goal less than four minutes into the third to create some breathing room. Antropov sealed the win late in the period with his first tally in 14 games.
Miller stopped 29 shots for Buffalo, which lost in regulation to the Jets franchise for the first time in seven meetings (4-1-2).
