No. 16 Gonzaga 57, Clemson 49: Elias Harris recorded 13 points, nine rebounds and four assists as the Bulldogs pulled away late to edge the Tigers in the first round of the Old Spice Classic in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.

Harris had five points during a 13-3 run that turned a one-point lead into a 52-41 advantage with 4:09 remaining and the Bulldogs were on their way. David Stockton also had a basket in the run and dished out a career-high seven assists for Gonzaga (4-0), which plays Oklahoma in Friday's semifinals.

Kelly Olynyk, playing his first game of the season after sitting the out three because of a code of conduct violation, scored 13 points and Sam Dower added 11 for Gonzaga. The Bulldogs, who came in leading the nation in scoring, finished 37 points below their average.

Adonis Filer scored 10 points and Milton Jennings added six points and eight rebounds for Clemson (2-1). The Tigers will play Texas-El Paso in the consolation round Friday.

Clemson held Gonzaga to only nine field goals in the first half and pushed its lead to as much as six. Gonzaga answered with the final five points of the half to pull within 24-23.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Clemson PG Rod Hall, who went the first two games without a turnover, had one against Gonzaga. … Damarcus Harrison, who transferred to Clemson from Brigham Young, played against Gonzaga three times last season. Clemson’s only other game against Gonzaga was an 84-71 loss in 1997. … Gonzaga was 2-of-11 from 3-point range.
