WASHINGTON 77, ARIZONA STATE 69: Terrence Ross scored 18 points and Washington remained in a tie for first place in the Pac-12 with the victory over the visiting Sun Devils.
C.J. Wilson scored 14 points, Tony Wroten had 13 points and six steals, and Aziz N’Diaye had 12 points as Washington (18-8, 11-3) won for the seventh time in eight games.
Carrick Felix scored 13 points and Trent Lockett added 11 for Arizona State (8-18, 4-10), which has lost seven of nine games.
The Huskies share the Pac-12 lead with California after beating the Sun Devils for the 18th time in 21 meetings.
Washington shot 61.3 percent in the first half en route a 44-26 halftime lead.
Arizona State trailed just 27-22 with under seven minutes in the first half when Abdul Gaddy and C.J. Wilcox hit back-to-back 3-pointers to start a 17-2 run to push Washington’s lead to 20 points.
The Huskies lead was 50-26 early in the second half before they diverted into sloppy play and the Sun Devils responded with a 19-6 surge to cut the Washington lead to 11 with 11:27 remaining.
The large lead was temporarily restored during a 15-4 run in which Ross drained two 3-pointers and N’Diaye ended the surge with a dunk to make it 71-49 with just over six minutes left.
Jordan Bachynski and Chris Colvin added 10 points apiece for the Sun Devils.
