Suns 92, Lakers 86: Michael Beasley scored a season-high 27 points and made the tiebreaking layup with 43.8 seconds remaining as host Phoenix rallied from a 13-point fourth-quarter deficit to snap Los Angeles’ three-game winning streak.

Luis Scola and Jared Dudley each hit two free throws to protect the lead and Marcin Gortat had 14 points and 12 rebounds for the Suns, who handed the Lakers their eighth consecutive road loss.

Kobe Bryant had 17 points and nine assists for the Lakers while Steve Nash had 11 points but just two assists in his first game in Phoenix as a visiting player since April 3, 2004. Dwight Howard had 14 rebounds before leaving with 6:56 remaining when he aggravated his ailing right shoulder.

Phoenix trailed by 13 points with 10 minutes remaining before embarking on a 21-4 run to take a four-point lead. The Suns tied the score at 82 on a 3-pointer by Jared Dudley with 3:39 remaining and the game was later tied at 86 prior to Beasley driving the lane for the decisive hoop.

The contest was tied at 41 at halftime before Los Angeles went 13-of-20 from the field in the third quarter en route to a 73-63 edge entering the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Bryant has 48 assists over the past four games. … Beasley had five of Phoenix’s 11 steals as Los Angeles committed 20 turnovers in dropping to 5-16 on the road. ... Phoenix went 11-of-16 from the field in the final quarter. The Lakers were 4-for-21.
