Joe Harris hit the tiebreaking 3-pointer with 84 seconds remaining Saturday as the visiting Brooklyn Nets enhanced their playoff chances with a dramatic 133-128 victory over the league-leading Milwaukee Bucks.

Harris was among eight players in double figures for Brooklyn, and his final points snapped a 128-128 deadlock.

With 1:28 left, D'Angelo Russell missed an off-balance jumper in the lane, but Jared Dudley grabbed the rebound and tapped it out to Caris LeVert at the top of the key. LeVert then quickly dished it to Harris, who released the uncontested 3-pointer from the right wing before Eric Bledsoe could rotate defensively.

After Harris made his clutch shot, Milwaukee's Sterling Brown missed two free throws with 1:15 left, and Dudley seized the rebound of the second.

With 59.1 seconds remaining, Russell made a crafty move to get around former Brooklyn center Brook Lopez and pushed the lead to 133-128 by hitting a layup.

Bledsoe missed a layup attempt on the next trip. Milwaukee's Khris Middleton missed a 3-point try with 8.7 seconds remaining, and Dudley secured another rebound in the waning seconds.

The big shot by Harris helped the Nets (40-40) move into sixth place in the Eastern Conference. Though they own the same record as the Orlando Magic, the Nets own the head-to-head tiebreaker.

Brooklyn also moved a half-game ahead of the eighth-place Detroit Pistons, against whom the Nets also own the head-to-head tiebreaker. The Nets also are 1 1/2 games ahead of the ninth-place Miami Heat, the team Brooklyn hosts in the regular-season finale on Wednesday.

The Nets visit the Indiana Pacers on Sunday.

Russell led the Nets with 25 points and handed out 10 assists. LeVert added 24 points, Dudley collected 16 points, and Harris contributed 14. Brooklyn shot 49.5 percent from the floor and hit 19 3-pointers.

Giannis Antetokounmpo (sore left calf) missed his second game this week and ninth overall on the season. Before the game, Milwaukee coach Mike Budenholzer said Antetokounmpo was dealing with some soreness after absorbing contact Thursday in the Bucks' 128-122 win at Philadelphia.

Bledsoe led Milwaukee with 33 points while Middleton contributed 24. The Bucks, who did not score over the final 2 1/2 minutes, lost for only the second time in their past 18 meetings with Brooklyn.

The Bucks took a 128-126 lead on two free throws by Bledsoe with 2:30 left before the Nets closed it out.
