Thunder 95, Knicks 94: Kevin Durant scored 34 points and visiting Oklahoma City outlasted New York for its third straight victory.
Russell Westbrook added 21 points - 15 in the first quarter - and Kevin Martin scored 16 for the Thunder, who won for the sixth time in seven games.
With star forward and leading scorer Carmelo Anthony (knee) sitting out a second straight game, J.R. Smith paced the Knicks by pouring in a season-high 36 points.
Smith scored 18 points in the second quarter to pull New York within 59-56 at halftime and buried two of his six 3-pointers in the final 35 seconds of the third quarter to put the Knicks ahead 81-75.
Durant scored 12 points in the fourth, including six during a 9-2 run to open the quarter as Oklahoma City took a one-point lead. There were nine lead changes in the quarter before Durant's two free throws with 1:38 left accounted for the final points.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Amar'e Stoudemire and Raymond Felton scored 16 points apiece for New York, which lost for the second time in seven games. ... Anthony is listed as day-to-day for New York, which will host Utah on Saturday before heading out for a five-game West Coast road trip. ... Thunder F Serge Ibaka was floored and suffered a bloody tongue when he took an inadvertent elbow under the chin from Stoudemire in the first quarter, but he returned to the game minutes later.
