Hornets 93, Suns 84: Greivis Vasquez had 19 points, 12 assists and four steals to lead host New Orleans past Phoenix.
Al-Farouq Aminu had 16 points and 11 rebounds and Ryan Anderson added 14 points as the Hornets snapped a four-game losing skid.
Jared Dudley and Marcin Gortat scored 14 points apiece and Goran Dragic tallied 13 for the Suns, who went 1-of-15 from 3-point range in dropping to 5-21 on the road.
Phoenix pulled within two points midway through the final quarter before Anderson drained a 3-pointer and Robin Lopez scored on a layup as part of a 13-2 run that saw New Orleans take a 93-80 lead with 1:23 to play.
Vasquez had 15 points as the Hornets held a 54-53 advantage at the break. A 13-2 third-quarter burst gave New Orleans a 73-63 lead with 3:45 left, and the Hornets led 78-71 entering the final quarter.
