Jazz 100, Mavericks 94: Gordon Hayward scored a game-high 27 points off the bench as host Utah handed Dallas its ninth loss in 10 games.
Al Jefferson contributed 15 points and 11 rebounds while Paul Millsap added 14 and nine for the Jazz, who improved to 11-4 at home.
Dirk Nowitzki scored 20 points and Chris Kaman chipped in 14 and nine boards for the Mavericks, who fell to 5-15 on the road and 18-58 all-time at Utah.
Dallas held a 26-19 lead after one quarter thanks to a 10-point effort from Kaman, but Hayward was 3-of-3 from 3-point range en route to 15 points in the second as Utah forged a 53-53 tie at the break.
The Jazz opened up a five-point advantage midway through the third before the Mavericks went on a 19-6 run to go ahead 78-70 with 1:48 left in the quarter. After Darren Collison's layup with 6:20 remaining in the fourth gave Dallas an 86-80 lead, Utah used a 13-0 burst that was capped by Hayward's 3-pointer with 2:19 left to move in front for good.
