Heat 102, Nets 89: Dwyane Wade scored a season-high 34 points and added seven assists while LeBron James had 21 points and nine rebounds as host Miami rallied from a 14-point, second-quarter deficit to defeat Brooklyn and stretch its winning streak to six.
Ray Allen tallied 13 points and Norris Cole added 12 as the Heat improved to 8-0 at home and defeated the Nets for the 12th consecutive time. Miami held Brooklyn to 30 second-half points after trailing 59-50 at halftime.
Andray Blatche had 20 points, Gerald Wallace had 13 and nine rebounds and Joe Johnson scored 12 points for Brooklyn, which saw its five-game winning streak come to an end. The Nets were without center Brook Lopez (foot) for the second consecutive contest.
Brooklyn led 73-65 midway through the third quarter after a basket by Wallace. Miami rolled off the next 10 points and took its first lead of the entire contest on a dunk by James that made it 75-73 with 3:08 left in the quarter.
The Heat held the Nets without a point for a stretch of 7:20 in the final quarter to open up an 11-point lead. A 3-pointer by Cole boosted the advantage to 102-87 with 1:05 to go as Brooklyn was just 2-of-15 from the field over the final 12 minutes.
