NETS 122, CAVALIERS 117 (OT): Gerald Green had a season-high 32 points off the bench and the Nets survived at home despite not making a field goal for the final 2:24 of overtime.
The Cavaliers' Lester Hudson, playing on the final day of a 10-day contract, had a career-high 26 points and forced overtime with a corner 3-pointer while falling out of bounds and Deron Williams’ hand in his face. Hudson had a chance to tie the game again in the final seconds, but missed a 3-pointer that was a better look than the shot that forced overtime with the teams tied at 109.
Hudson had 18 points in the fourth quarter and has scored 49 points in his last two games.
The Nets took a 119-112 lead in overtime and held on despite missing their final five shots.
Anthony Morrow had 24 points off the bench, Deron Williams had 19 points and 10 assists and the Nets won for the fifth time in their last seven games.
Antawn Jamison tied a season high with 34 points for the Cavaliers, who have lost 13 of their last 15.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Green's point total was one off his career high. ... The Nets’ Gerald Wallace injured his hamstring in the second quarter and did not return. … Donald Sloan had a career-high 14 assists for the Cavaliers, marking their second-highest total by a player this season. … The Nets’ five starters combined for 64 points, while Morrow and Green combined for 56.
