Kevin Martin scored 25 points and the Houston Rockets rallied for their sixth straight win, a 105-102 victory over the visiting San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night.
Houston (9-7) trailed 84-79 early in the fourth quarter, but Kyle Lowry scored 10 points, including two 3-pointers, as the Rockets took a 101-94 lead with 2:35 to play. The Spurs responded with five straight points that cut the lead to two.
Goran Dragic's basket with the shot clock winding down gave Houston a 103-99 lead with 54.6 remaining. Richard Jefferson's 3-pointer cut the lead to one, but Martin hit two free throws with nine seconds remaining that pushed the lead to three.
Gary Neal shot an airball on a 3-pointer and Houston grabbed the rebound before running out the clock.
Spurs coach Gregg Popovich rested forward Tim Duncan because San Antonio (10-7) was playing its fourth game in five nights. Tiago Splitter led the Spurs with a career-high 23 points.
Houston had six players in double figures. Lowry and Dragic scored each 14 points. Samuel Dalembert, Luis Scola and Patrick Patterson had 12 apiece.
