Tim Duncan had 22 points and 10 rebounds and the San Antonio Spurs used a late 10-0 run to rally for a 107-101 victory over the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday.

George Hill and Tony Parker added 20 points apiece for the Spurs (16-3), who took the lead for good at 101-99 on Manu Ginobili’s two free throws with 1:13 remaining.

San Antonio trailed by 15 points entering the fourth quarter and was still down 99-95 with 3:25 remaining before going on the decisive run. The Spurs outscored Minnesota 36-15 in the final quarter.

Michael Beasley scored 28 points and Kevin Love had 25 points and 18 rebounds for Minnesota (4-15), which has lost six consecutive games.

The comeback victory was San Antonio’s second over Minnesota in nine days. The Spurs trailed by 21 points and rallied to win in overtime when the two teams met on the Timberwolves’ home court on Nov. 24.

This time, Minnesota led 86-71 after three quarters before the Spurs began whittling away at the lead. Hill tied the score at 99 by hitting two free throws with 2:56 to play.

Ginobili had 16 points despite making just 1-of-10 shots from the field. He made all 13 free-throw attempts as the Spurs hit 33-of-37 from the line.

Minnesota dropped to 1-10 on the road this season. The Timberwolves have lost 14 consecutive games to San Antonio.
