D.J. Augustin had 23 points and eight assists as the host Charlotte Bobcats won their third straight game this season against the Toronto Raptors 114-101 on Tuesday.

Gerald Wallace scored 20 points, and Boris Diaw added 16 and nine rebounds for the Bobcats, who remained one game behind Indiana for the No. 8 spot in the Eastern Conference.

Sonny Weems scored 19 points and Andrea Bargnani added 18 as the struggling Raptors lost their 11th straight road game, and fell to 5-24 away from home.

The Bobcats held the Raptors to 7-of-19 shooting in the second quarter, forced six turnovers and outscored them 9-3 at the line to push a six-point lead after the first quarter to 61-44 at the half.

Augustin increased the lead to 21 with a 3-pointer two minutes into the third, and Toronto never got within single digits thereafter.
