Paul Millsap scored a career-high 46 points Tuesday night and the Utah Jazz overcame a 22-point deficit, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James for a 116-114 overtime victory over the host Miami Heat.
Francisco Elson's two free throws with 0.4 seconds left gave Utah an improbable win and handed Miami its first home loss of the season. The Jazz trailed by 22 points in the second quarter and eight with 37 seconds left in regulation.
Millsap made 19-of-28 shots. He hit three 3-pointers in the final minute - surpassing his career total of two - to cut the deficit to 103-102. Wade split a pair of free throws with 3.4 seconds left, opening the door for Millsap's tying follow shot at the regulation buzzer.
Utah outscored Miami 42-29 in the fourth quarter.
Andrei Kirilenko's 3-pointer with 1:51 left in overtime put Utah ahead, 112-111. He added two free throws with 20 seconds left, but Wade - who had a season-high 39 points and all 10 of Miami's points in overtime - hit a 3-pointer from the corner to tie the game with 17 seconds to go.
The Jazz went for the final shot without calling timeout. Wade was called for a foul as Elson shot in the lane. He made both - banking in the second try - and Eddie House missed a potential tying shot at the buzzer.
James recorded his first triple-double for Miami and 29th career with 20 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists.
Utah's Deron Williams had 21 points and 14 assists before fouling out late in regulation.
