Damion Lee paced Louisville's high-octane attack with 21 points and eight rebounds as the Cardinals concluded a four-game homestand with a never-in-doubt 85-41 win over St. Francis Brooklyn on Tuesday at Louisville, Ky.
Raymond Spalding scored 12 points for Louisville (4-0) while Donovan Mitchell (11) and Quentin Snider (10) also reached double figures for the Cardinals.
St. Francis Brooklyn, an NIT qualifier last year - the program's first postseason invitation in 51 years - slipped to 1-3.
Tyreek Jewell and Glenn Sanabria scored 11 points apiece for the Terriers.
Just like in previous wins over Samford, Hartford and North Florida, Louisville played frenetic pressure defense. The Cardinals produced 15 turnovers and held St. Francis to just 29.8 percent shooting from the field.
Just four minutes into the game, Louisville - led by Lee's seven points - had a 14-4 lead and cruised home from there.
With only 17 percent of its scoring back from last season - the lowest total for a Louisville team in 43 years Cardinals coach Rick Pitino scheduled four home games to start the season, so his new-look team could get accustomed to one another and new scorers could emerge.
