Utah 124, St. Katherine 51: Jordan Loveridge scored a game-high 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds as the host Utes crushed the Firebirds for their fifth straight victory.

Dakarai Tucker (14), Ahmad Fields (13), Parker Van Dyke (11) and Dallin Bachynski (10) also scored in double figures for Utah (11-1), which had 14 different players score in the rout. Delon Wright added six points and grabbed a career-high 17 rebounds, five more than recorded by the entire St. Katherine team.

Alex Perez scored 13 points and Joshua White added 12 for St. Katherine (2-13), a first-year NAIA school of 102 students located about 20 miles north of San Diego in Encinitas. The Firebirds shot 24.3 percent from the floor and were outrebounded 71-12.

Utah raced to leads of 19-0, 40-6 and 53-12 en route to a 55-14 halftime lead. The Firebirds missed their first 12 shots before Perez nailed a 3-pointer with 10:39 left in the half.

The Utes built their lead to 60 points, 88-28, on a Loveridge dunk with 11:19 left and went ahead by 70, 108-38, on a layup by Kenneth Ogbe with 5:55 remaining. Utah shot 67.1 percent from the floor and finished with 31 assists.
