Keiton Page scored eight of his 17 points during a pivotal second-half run as Oklahoma State held off visiting Central Arkansas 69-57 on Wednesday night.
The Cowboys (6-1) led by just six at halftime against the stubborn Bears (2-5), and that remained the difference with 4 1/2 minutes left in the game. Oklahoma State's Jan-Paul Olukemi hit a foul shot before Page rattled off eight straight points – six coming on free throws – to cap a 9-0 Cowboys run that put the game away.
Page went just 3-of-12 from the field but made his mark at the foul line, hitting all 10 attempts. Central Arkansas made just 11 foul shots as a team.
Olukemi had 15 points and Marshall Moses added 14 points and 11 rebounds for Oklahoma State, which emerged victorious despite going just 1-of-12 from 3-point range.
Chris Henson (13 points) and Mark Rutledge (10) were the only Bears to reach double figures in scoring.
