Mark Recchi's power-play goal with 50 seconds left in the third period capped a wild rally that lifted the Boston Bruins to a stunning 4-2 victory over the host Pittsburgh Penguins on Monday.

The Bruins trailed 2-0 with less than four minutes remaining in regulation but stormed back to hand the Penguins their third straight loss. All three defeats have come with leading scorer Sidney Crosby on the sideline as he recovers from a concussion.

Zdeno Chara kicked off Monday's comeback with a power-play goal at 16:37 of the third. Brad Marchand's seventh goal of the season 12 seconds later drew the Bruins even, setting the stage for Recchi's game winner against the team that selected him in the second round of the 1988 draft.

Gregory Campbell added an empty-netter with eight seconds remaining. Campbell finished with three points while Dennis Seidenberg added a pair of helpers as Boston won for the first time in three games.

Michael Rupp and Kris Letang had second-period goals for Pittsburgh, which has scored just three goals in three games without Crosby.

Tuukka Rask stopped 23 shots to earn the win, while Marc-Andre Fleury made 28 saves in defeat.
