Jalen Lindsey converted three 3-pointers during a 20-0 first-half run and Providence roared to its third straight victory, a 95-57 home blowout that ended local rival Brown's four-game winning streak on Tuesday night in Providence, R.I.

The Friars, playing the third of a six-game homestand, trailed 3-0 when they erupted for their run over a 5:04 stretch to establish control. They led 50-18 at halftime and cruised home from there, never threatened as they scored their second win over an in-state rival in four nights (63-60 over then-No. 21 Rhode Island on Saturday night).

Providence (7-2) hit six of its first 10 3-pointers and finished the game 14-for-27 from behind the arc in winning for the sixth time in the last seven games.

Emmitt Holt scored 20 points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out five assist while Lindsey and Rodney Bullock scoring 16 points apiece for the Friars. Bullock, the reigning Big East player of the week, also grabbed eight rebounds and handed out five assists.

Bullock came into the game averaging 21.4 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, while Lindsey almost doubled his 8.5-point scoring average.

Providence posted 24 assists on 37 baskets and ran up a 37-27 rebounding edge, winning easily despite committing 17 turnovers (five by Bullock).

Obi Okolie led Brown (5-5) with 16 points and Travis Fuller added 10 in the loss.

The Bears turned the ball over 19 times. were just 3 of 18 from 3-point range and 15 of 25 from the foul line.

The win upped the Friars' advantage in the series to 95-28 while they improved to 131-49 all-time against teams from the Ivy League.
