Mississippi State 81, Texas A&M 72 (OT): Craig Sword scored 23 points and Gavin Ware added 22 and the host Bulldogs dominated the overtime period to win the SEC game.

Ware also had 10 rebounds and Sword had six rebounds and five assists for the Bulldogs (12-5, 2-2 SEC). Colin Borchert supplied 14 points, five rebounds and four assists and Fred Thomas contributed 13 points, five rebounds and three steals.

Jamal Jones had a career-high 24 points before being ejected late in overtime for the Aggies (12-5, 3-1), who led for most of the game. Davonte Fitzgerald added a career-best 20 points and Alex Caruso chipped in with 12 points, six rebounds and four assists.

A 3-pointer by Jones gave the Aggies a 10-point lead midway through the second half and six straight points from Kourtney Roberson made it a 61-54 game in favor of Texas A&M before the Bulldogs used an 13-6 run to force overtime.

In the extra session, a jumper from Thomas and six point from Ware staked the Bulldogs to a 77-70 advantage. Borchert made a pair of free throws and Ware a dunk before Fitzgerald made two free throws to produce the final result.
