Cincinnati rolled to its most impressive win of the season with a 76-51 victory over Florida A&M on Monday night.
Cashmere Wright led the host Bearcats (3-0) with 18 points while Yancey Gates scored 11 points and had 11 rebounds.
Cincinnati won its first two games, but its performance left many question marks. The Bearcats defeated Mount St. Mary's 69-59 in the opener and then beat IPFW 65-59 win on Saturday, but the Bearcats failed to put either opponent away.
Cincinnati jumped on the Rattlers (2-2) early and never let up. The Bearcats led 34-18 late in the first hall and were ahead 37-24 at halftime.
Dion Dixon scored 14 points and Ibrahima Thomas added 11 as Cincinnati built its largest margin, 76-49, with 1:15 left in the game.
Brandon Hosley led Florida A&M with 10 points. He was the only player who reached double figures for the Rattlers, who hit only 19 of 56 shots from the field and were outrebounded 43-23.
