Down eight at the half, Ole Miss roared back behind senior point guard Chris Warren and beat visiting Arkansas State 68-60 Friday in the season opener for both teams.
Warren finished with 26 points on 9-of-15 shooting, and he made all seven of his foul shots. Warren also extended his streak of hitting at least one 3-pointer to 46 straight games. It's an Ole Miss record and the third-longest streak in SEC history.
The Rebels, aiming for their first NCAA Tournament berth since 2002, got 12 points from senior swingman Zach Graham.
Arkansas State put three players in double figures: Martavius Adams (14), Donald Boone (13) and Rashad Allison (12).
Each team made just 3 of 16 from beyond the arc.
