Grizzlies 82, Pacers 71: Mike Conley scored 21 points and Zach Randolph had 18 points and 13 rebounds as host Memphis dispatched of the Pacers.

Miller Miller added 13 points off the bench for the Grizzlies, who hold a one-game lead over Phoenix for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Marc Gasol had 10 points and nine rebounds as Memphis won for the 14th time in 19 games.

Lance Stephenson had 15 points and eight rebounds for Indiana, which set a season low for points scored as well as scoring the fewest against the Grizzlies all season. David West added 10 points while Paul George had just eight points on 2-of-10 shooting but the Pacers maintained a three-game lead in the Eastern Conference over the Miami Heat.

The Pacers shot 36.5 percent from the field and had trouble scoring the entire contest but were within 70-60 after George Hill’s basket with just under seven minutes remaining. But the Grizzlies held Indiana to one field goal over the next 5 1/2 minutes and stretched the lead to 15 while cruising to the finish.

Memphis limited Indiana to 32.4 percent shooting from the field while posting a 43-30 halftime lead. Randolph scored eight points in the third quarter as the Grizzlies protected the advantage to take a 64-49 lead into the final stanza.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Gasol sprained his left ankle in Friday’s loss to the Miami Heat but was cleared to play just prior to tipoff and helped the Grizzlies possess a 46-24 edge in points in the paint. … Indiana’s previous low scoring output came in an 81-73 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Feb. 12. … Conley reached the 20-point mark for the 20th time this season.
