Timberwolves 121, Jazz 104: Kevin Love posted 37 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists for his first career triple-double as visiting Minnesota eased past Utah.

Love knocked down six 3-pointers and went 11-of-20 from the field in his ninth straight games with at least 25 points and 10 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who have won three straight. Ricky Rubio added 15 points, seven assists and six rebounds while Chase Budinger and Corey Brewer scored 13 points apiece for Minnesota.

Enes Kanter recorded 25 points and seven boards to lead the Jazz, who have dropped three in a row since a season-best three-game winning streak. Trey Burke chipped in 16 points and six assists and Alec Burks scored 15 off the bench for Utah.

The Timberwolves took a 94-81 lead into the final quarter and quickly spread it to a 23-point lead as Love highlighted a 13-3 burst with a 3-pointer. Burke hit a 3-pointer with 4:24 left to trim the deficit to 111-97 but Rubio responded with a 3-pointer and Minnesota coasted to the finish.

Budinger hit a pair of 3-pointers in an 18-8 run ending the second quarter that sent the Timberwolves into the break up 59-49. Love hit back-to-back 3-pointers during an 8-0 burst early in the third quarter that made it 69-52 before Minnesota settled for a 13-point lead heading to the fourth.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Love is the 10th player in Minnesota history to record a triple-double. The first was current Utah head coach Tyrone Corbin on Jan. 2, 1991. … The Timberwolves were without Cs Nikola Pekovic (ankle) and Ronny Turiaf (bone bruise). … The Jazz were outrebounded 49-34 in falling to 0-3 against Minnesota this season.
