Hawks 121, Heat 114: Paul Millsap scored 20 of his 26 points in a high-scoring first half and host Atlanta rallied late to snap a nine-game losing streak versus Miami.

DeMarre Carroll returned from a one-game layoff to score 19 points and Pero Antic added 17 for the Hawks, who shot 51.9 percent from the floor and made 25-of-27 free throws. Shelvin Mack chipped in 13 points and seven assists off the bench in Atlanta's first win over its Southeast Division rivals in over two years.

LeBron James led the Heat with 30 points while Chris Bosh had 21. Mario Chalmers tied a season high with 17 points and Ray Allen - starting for the second straight game in place of Dwyane Wade - made all five of his shot attempts and produced 15 points for Miami, which finished a disappointing road trip at 2-4.

Bosh scored seven straight Heat points to begin the fourth quarter and James hit consecutive 3-pointers midway through the period to give Miami a 107-104 advantage. The Heat then went over four minutes without a basket as the Hawks produced a 10-1 run, later going up 119-114 with 55.1 seconds left when Kyle Korver answered James' three-point play with a big 3-pointer before James turned it over to virtually end Miami's chances.

James ended the first quarter with a jumper at the buzzer to pull his team within 34-31 but the Hawks would go up by as many as 12 points in the second, when Millsap scored 10 points for the second straight quarter. Allen hit four straight 3-pointers in a four-minute span to help Miami cut the halftime deficit to 71-70, as the teams combined to go 19-for-34 from beyond the arc before the break.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Wade has sat out three of the last five games and scored only eight points in each of the two contests in which he was active. ...
